5.2 Analytics and tracking
These cookies are only set if you click "Accept cookies" on our consent banner.
Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager (GTM-K6GF9DMW)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It is loaded through Google Tag Manager, which itself does not set cookies directly but loads the Google Analytics tag that does. Google Tag Manager only loads after you accept cookies (gated by the c2_consent=1 cookie).
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors | 2 years |
_ga_J5RNVE6011 | Set by Google Analytics to keep the state of your visit | 2 years |
- Data processor: Google LLC
- Legal basis: Consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a))
Snitcher (visitor identification)
We use Snitcher, a B2B visitor identification service. When you accept cookies, Snitcher may:
- Identify the company or organisation associated with your IP address (reverse IP lookup)
- Record which pages you visited, how long you spent on them, and in what order
- Track whether you submitted a form, clicked certain elements, or downloaded files
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
snitcher_device_id | Set by Snitcher to recognise your device on later visits | 12 months |
Snitcher does not set third-party cookies; it sets one first-party cookie, listed above. It also keeps a device identifier and a session identifier in your browser's storage; choosing Decline removes them. It processes network-level data (IP address) and page interaction data. When you accept cookies, we enable its full feature set.

Counting visits. Until you make a choice in our cookie banner, our web server tells Google Analytics that a page was viewed. It sends the page, the site you came from, your country, the type of device, and a code that changes every day, so we can count visits without identifying you. Nothing is stored on or read from your device for this. We do it because we have a legitimate interest in knowing how our website is used. If you choose Decline, it stops.
We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and only gives us totals. It stops if you choose Decline.
6. Third-party cookies
The services described above may set their own cookies or use similar technologies. We have no direct control over third-party cookies. Please refer to the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant third party:
7. Consent
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner appears. You can choose to Accept cookies or Decline.
- If you accept, we set a cookie called
c2_consent=1and activate Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Snitcher. - If you decline, we set
c2_consent=0. Google Analytics and Snitcher are not activated, and we stop counting your visits. Only strictly necessary cookies continue to function.
Your preference is stored for 12 months. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser cookies: the banner will reappear on your next visit.
8. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed.
